As a husband, father and lifelong resident of Connecticut, I know what families face everyday. That's why I'm running for State Comptroller, to look out for taxpayers and make Connecticut more affordable for families, workers and small businesses.
~Sean
A PROVEN FIGHTER
As a State Representative, Sean takes on tough fights and wins.
When he was Chairman of the Insurance Committee, he took on the special interests and passed laws capping the cost of insulin, requiring equal coverage for mental health and creating Connecticut's first prescription drug price transparency law.
As Finance Committee chair, he's fighting to create tax relief for the working and middle class, worked with business and labor to save our unemployment trust fund and helped pass a bipartisan state budget in 2021.
PROBLEM SOLVER
When Sean took over running New Haven's Tweed Airport, they had a small staff, one flight per day and no path to expand.
Within 18 months he secured a $100 million public-private partnership deal to expand the airport, brought in a new air carrier with non-stop flights to six destinations and created over 100 new community jobs.
